Wind Power

Wind power has always been a clean, renewable energy resource. The development of wind farms, where a large wind farm may consist of several hundred individual wind turbines all connected to an electric-power transmission network, has contributed to the rising popularity of wind power as a viable and desirable energy option. Its capture and delivery emits no greenhouses gases, making it a preferred energy resource and an attractive offset to global warming. With wind power costs decreasing (as much as 90% over the last 30 years) and federal and provincial incentives increasing, wind power can only continue to rise in demand.

Solar Power
