44 Davis LLP Practitioners Recognized in List of Best Lawyers in Canada 2014

August 12, 2013

Davis LLP is pleased to announce that 44 of the firm's lawyers have been included in the list of Best Lawyers in Canada 2014, recommended by their peers in over 30 areas of legal practice. Seven firm lawyers are being featured for the first time.

The overall number of lawyer rankings has risen from 2013, coinciding with the firm’s recent move in stepping up its international market presence through strategic recruitment. “Our firm takes pride in fostering innovation. We encourage our lawyers to always search for new ways to better serve our clients,” said Firm Managing Partner Robert Seidel, Q.C. “This culture of agile thinking continues to attract today’s brightest legal talents to Davis, and we are very pleased our colleagues are being recognized for their leadership.”

Special congratulations also go to Gavin MacKenzie, who has been named the 2014 "Lawyer of the Year" for Appellate Law in Toronto.

Best Lawyers, the oldest peer-review publication in the legal community, is a prestigious referral source for legal talent trusted by key industry insiders. The selected lawyers are distinguished as leaders in their fields after a rigorous and extensive evaluation process.
