Davis LLP Participates in the Canadian Institute’s 19th Annual Advertising & Marketing Law Conference

Bill Hearn is co-chairing with FedEx Canada’s Les Chait the Canadian Institute’s 19th Annual Advertising and Marketing Law Conference. Taking place in Toronto from January 23-24, 2013, the event features a distinguished faculty of regulators and legal and marketing professionals who will share the latest insights on legal developments in anti-spam, online behavioural advertising, social media, online contests, sponsorships, loyalty programs and much more.

As one of the country’s leading lawyers in advertising and marketing and the conference co-chair, Hearn will be speaking in the seminar “The Need to Know Legalities of Marketing Sponsorhips,” where questions on sponsorships will be addressed, using as a case study the “Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer” event.

Annie-Claude Beauchemin will speak on complying with Quebec contest law and Tudor Carsten will be on a panel addressing rules and procedures for compliant advertising and marketing online.
