Richard's practice involves work in the areas of:

commercial real estate acquisitions and sales
development and financing; title review and due diligence
commercial lease negotiation, preparation and review
private and institutional lending
and the purchase and sale of businesses and companies

In particular, Richard has acted for purchasers and sellers of numerous shopping centres and office buildings.

Previously, Richard served as a judicial law clerk for six justices of the British Columbia Supreme Court.
