Megan Filmer is a partner in the Vancouver office of Davis LLP practising corporate/commercial and lending law. Her practice focuses on purchases and sales of businesses, lending and financing transactions, advising clients on a variety of commercial contracts including shareholders agreements and partnership agreements, and assisting clients with their corporate and governance issues. 
Megan acts as general counsel for a number of B.C.-based businesses in a variety of industries, assisting with their strategic planning and growth, commercial contracts, corporate governance and corporate finance needs. As a key advisor to each organization, Megan draws on specialized areas of the firm, including tax, real estate, litigation, IP and employment law services, to ensure that her clients’ legal needs are met in a timely, cost-effective and thoughtful way. Megan acts regularly for borrowers and lenders (including Canadian chartered banks) in relation to complex loan transactions, often including syndicated loans, cross border financings, and customized loan structures. She assists in structuring financing deals in the most efficient manner possible, thereby providing timely service to clients within a manageable budget.
