Jennifer Cleall is an industry leader in the fields of climate change and environmental law with unparalleled expertise with respect to Alberta's climate-change regulations. She advises companies on climate change and environmental issues, including green-technology investment, carbon-trading transactions, provincial and federal climate-change regulatory frameworks, environmental risk and risk management, contaminated sites and foreign ownership of land.
Recently, Jennifer assisted with the development and implementation of Alberta's ground-breaking greenhouse-gas-emissions regime through the establishment of an arms-length corporation set up to administer the money paid into the Climate Change and Emissions Management Fund by Alberta's large industrial greenhouse gas emitters.
