His clients include both debtors and lenders in a variety of insolvency situations. He has been involved in most of the major workouts in insolvency and restructuring in the Montreal region and in Canada for the last 35 years.

Jean-Yves has received numerous accolades from the legal and insolvency communities, including fellowships and best-lawyer designations.

He sits on a variety of boards and advisory committees and is past president of the Insolvency Institute of Canada, past Board Director of the Canadian Insolvency Foundation and a founding member of the International Insolvency Institute.
