Biographie
Craig Rose joined Davis LLP in August 2002 after 22 years as a forester and lawyer with the government of Alberta. Craig is a registered professional forester with knowledge and experience in forest management planning, integrated resource and land use planning, wildland fire prevention and suppression operations and regulatory matters.
Mr. Rose studied political science at York University and forest science at the University of Toronto before moving to Edmonton in 1980 to practise forestry with Alberta Sustainable Resource Development. He continued his forestry practice in Calgary and received his bachelor of laws degree before returning to Edmonton in 1994 to serve his articles of clerkship with Alberta Justice.
Mr. Rose works with clients in both the private and public sectors, including delegated administrative organizations, and provides advice on matters involving forestry law, environmental law, corporate law, governance, regulatory and policy-related matters and aboriginal law.
Recognition
- Mr. Rose is the recipient of the Frank Appleby Award in recognition of exemplary and significant contributions made to the College of Alberta Professional Foresters.
Associations professionnelles
- Mr. Rose is an active member of the College of Alberta Professional Foresters and presently serves as a director on College Council. He has served on a number of committees, as the chair of disciplinary panels and as an instructor at professional examination seminars
- Mr. Rose also serves as a member of the Joint Environmental Professional Practices Board.
