A former employee alleged misrepresentations by Kids & Company (the "Employer") during the hiring process contrary to the B.C. Employment Standards Act. Her complaint was dismissed and she appealed.
The Employment Standards Tribunal (the "Tribunal") accepted the Employer's arguments that the employee had no basis for an appeal other than a dissatisfaction with the result. The employee was asking the Tribunal to re-weigh the evidence.
The Tribunal dismissed the appeal.
