Marc Philibert, Managing Partner of Davis LLP's Montreal office, was quoted in a November 2011 issue of The Lawyers Weekly. In the article, "Work in sprints, less marathons," by Matthew Chung, Marc discusses his strategies for working more efficiently and managing client expectations.

Excerpt from the article:

Philibert says his strategy is to schedule as much of his day as possible.

“Even phone calls,” Philibert says. “If I know I need to talk to a client, the day before, I send an email and say ‘let’s try to plan to talk to each other at 10 o’clock’ so he is not running after me.”

He also tries to set aside a certain time of the day for replying to emails, even if it is just a courtesy message to say he will answer a client’s question later in the day.

He expects the same sort of discipline from his associates."
