Davis Team Closes Quinte Courthouse Transaction

On Tuesday, June 21, 2011, Brookfield Infrastructure Partnerships Quinte entered into an agreement with the Province of Ontario to design, build, finance and maintain the Quinte Consolidated Courthouse, a new courthouse in Belleville, Ontario. Brookfield Financial Corp. and Morguard Corporation provided the equity financing for the project with additional debt financing provided by The Toronto-Dominion Bank and The Canada Life Assurance Company.

Davis acted for the equity sponsors with a team that included Doug Buchanan, Andrew Burton, Eric Belli-Bivar, Lana Finney, Elizabeth Mayer, Jonathan Gilhen, Ali Owaisi, Lindsay Krauss, Rosalind Pyper (Summer Student) and Marrianne Crawford (Corporate Services).
