Laurie Hnatiuk is an experienced litigator, practising primarily in family law for almost 30 years. Throughout her career, Laurie has represented clients on various family legal matters including divorce, custody, access, support, matrimonial property, reciprocal enforcement of maintenance orders, inter-provincial support orders, provisional orders, parentage and maintenance, adoptions, annulments, declarations under the Marriage Act, and pre- and post-nuptial agreements. Prior to joining Davis, Laurie managed her own private practice for 17 years in the Northwest Territories and Alberta. Laurie graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Calgary in 1978 and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Canadian History and English from the University of Alberta in 1981. She received her law degree from the University of Alberta in 1984.
