Davis LLP was selected in 2009 to act as lead counsel to the Bermuda Hospitals Board in the KEMH redevelopment project, setting up the documentation, policies and procedures for the $315 million upgrade through a public-private partnership program – the first in Bermuda. In December 2010, Davis successfully closed its first project transaction, the redevelopment by DBFM (Design-Build-Finance-Maintain) of an acute care facility.
