Davis P3 Group Provides Counsel on Award-winning Project

The King Edward VII Memorial Hospital (KEMH) Redevelopment recently won the international award for Best Accommodation Project at the 2012 Partnership Awards in London.

Davis LLP was selected in 2009 to act as lead counsel to the Bermuda Hospitals Board in the KEMH redevelopment project, setting up the documentation, policies and procedures for the $315 million upgrade through a public-private partnership program – the first in Bermuda. In December 2010, Davis successfully closed its first project transaction, the redevelopment by DBFM (Design-Build-Finance-Maintain) of an acute care facility.
