Tamara Hunter Becomes Head of the Firm's Privacy Law Compliance Group
Robert Seidel, Q.C., National Managing Partner of Davis LLP, is pleased to announce Tamara Hunter has been appointed Head of the Davis Privacy Law Compliance Group.
Ms. Hunter is highly experienced in information and privacy law and has represented a number of clients, corporate, institutional and individual, on matters before the Information and Privacy Comissioner of British Columbia, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the British Columbia Court of Appeal and the Federal Court of Canada.
Ms. Hunter has also spoken extensively on the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act and the provincial Personal Information Protection Act.
Ms. Hunter also practises in the areas of administrative law, professional regulation law and commercial litigation.
Prior to joining Davis, Ms. Hunter was a law clerk to the Right Honourable Chief Justice Lamer of the Supreme Court of Canada.
