Jennifer Cleall Named a Rising Star by Lexpert and Jason Herbert Named as a Finalist

Toronto, ON, November 13, 2009 - Davis LLP is pleased to announce that Jennifer Cleall, a partner in the Edmonton office, was selected as one of the Lexpert® Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40 at a gala event in Toronto last night. Jennifer advises organizations on energy, environment and natural resources matters and has been nationally recognized for her work in the emerging field of climate change law. She is a regular contributor to the award-nominated Davis LLP Climate Change Blog, which has been referenced by environmental reporters in the mainstream media.

She graduated from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law in 1999 and moved her practice to Davis LLP in 2005. She is called to the bars of both Alberta and Ontario. Jennifer was one of 47 lawyers chosen as Rising Stars from a pool of hundreds of Canadian nominees.

Jason Herbert, of Davis LLP, was also named as a finalist. He is a litigation partner in the Vancouver office where he has practised commercial dispute resolution and regulatory and administrative law since completing his articles with the firm in 1999.
