Donald Campbell to Mentor PhD Student through Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Scholarship

Donald W. Campbell is one of 10 highly-experienced Canadian leaders chosen to mentor doctoral students who have been awarded the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Scholarship.

The Trudeau Mentors, who have backgrounds in government, business, the arts, Aboriginal communities and public policy, will provide "a uniquely experienced reality check" to the research being conducted by the Trudeau Scholars, to ensure the students' work is "applicable and actionable to the needs and concerns expressed by society."

Mr. Campbell, who was formerly the Executive Vice-President of CAE Inc., Canadian Ambassador to Japan, and Deputy Minister, Foreign Affairs and International Trade, possesses extensive knowledge of international relations and business with Japan and Asia.
