Don Campbell Represents Canada at Pacific Economic Council (PECC) Conference in Singapore

As Chair of the Canadian PECC Committee, Don Campbell leads Canada's participation in the partnership of academic, business and government representatives from 25 Pacific Rim economies seeking closer economic cooperation. In this capacity he will attend the SINCPEC (Singapore National Committee for Pacific Economic Cooperation) Conference on "Economic Crisis and Recovery: Enhancing Resilience, Structural Reform, and Freer Trade in the Asia-Pacific Region" along with many other distinguished international delegates such as The Minister for Transport and Second Minister for Foreign Affairs, Singapore; Minister for Trade and Industry, Singapore; Minister of Trade, Republic of Indonesia; President of the Asian Development Bank; Chairs from the Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Taipei Pacific Economic Cooperation Committees.

Don Campbell will also be chairing a special session "Green Environment and Sustainable Development for Emerging Economies".

The conference runs October 8th -10th, 2009.
