Don Campbell Joins International Leaders in KyotoPublished: Thursday, 1 October 2009 The firm's Senior Strategy Advisor, Don Campbell, will be in Kyoto, Japan next week attending the annual Science and Technology in Society Forum. Don is one of 67 members from 24 countries comprising the Forum Council and he serves in such role along with international business and government leaders such as the Chairmen of Du Pont, Pfizer, BMW, Honda and Toyota, Members of the European Parliament and Russian Government and heads of a variety of scientific institutes such as the National Academy of Sciences (US), International Council for Science (Fr.), Carnegie Corporation of New York and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. The Forum is aimed at creating a global human network and providing a platform for open discussions regarding the further progress of science and technology for the benefit of humankind while controlling ethical, safety and environmental issues resulting from their application. Of particular interest to Don and the firm is the focus on green house gas emissions and the development of related international policies. The Forum runs from October 4th - 6th, 2009. |
