Davis LLP Projects Featured in Financial PostPublished: Wednesday, 21 October 2009 When Bermuda decided it would forge ahead with plans to upgrade its only acute care health centre -- the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital (KEMH)--it invited bids from seven law firms in Canada and the U.K., which all had extensive experience using public-private partnerships to build facilities. In the end, the 200-lawyer firm Davis LLP, which has offices across Canada and in Tokyo, won the tender to drive the US$315-million project forward on behalf of the Bermuda Hospital Board (BHB), beating out larger and more well-known U.K. law firms.
