Davis LLP Advises Harman Canada Co. in US$138 Million Acquisition of QNX Software Systems Ltd.Published: Tuesday, 30 November 2004 Harman Canada Co., a subsidiary of Harman International Industries, Inc. acquired QNX Software Systems Ltd. for a purchase price of US$138 million. QNX is a world leader in the development, licensing and support of computer software for the embedded systems market. The acquisition was facilitated through an unlimited liability corporation incorporated under the laws of the province of Nova Scotia. Since the acquisition, Harman and its subsidiaries continue to work closely with the QNX subsidiaries, significantly in Europe, to license and integrate the QNX software into the Harman family.
