Yawen Liu

For more than ten years she was a senior patent examiner and division director of the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Division of the Chinese Patent Office.

After entering private practice in China she moved to Canada where she has worked as a patent paralegal at Davis LLP and in an equivalent position at a major Canadian intellectual property boutique.

She served as an IP administrator at two publicly traded Canadian pharmaceutical companies before returning to Davis LLP in early 2007 as an IP paralegal and technical consultant.
