Biography
Mr. He practises in the Vancouver office of Davis LLP. Prior to joining Davis LLP, he worked as a legal analyst in Canada at one of the world's largest companies in the insurance industry, and as a legal consultant at a top-tier bank in China.
Mr. He frequently advises clients on Mergers & Acquisitions, IPOs, CPC Qualifying Transactions, investment fund, secured lending and international trade. He is also experienced in Chinese foreign direct investment laws and corporate laws, having assisted clients set up joint ventures and wholly-owned-foreign-enterprises in China. He has about ten publications on Canadian and Chinese laws by such publishers as Lawyers Weekly of Canada and Law Press of China.

M&A & Corporate Finance
- Acted for a large Chinese State-Owned-Enterprise in its substantial investments in a Canadian company with significant mining assets in Africa.
- Acted for a Chinese company in its efforts to acquire an oil and gas asset of multi hundred million dollars.
- Acted for a Canadian listed company in its joint venture agreements with a large Chinese explorations company.
- Acted for a Chinese company in its business cooperations with certain aboriginal groups in BC.
- Acted for a Chinese State-Owned-Enterprise in its acquisition and management of a forest licence in British Columbia.
- Represented a Chinese company in its acquisition of an uranium exploration company in Canada.
- Acted for a Canadian subsidiary of a Chinese company in an reorganization valued at US$66 million.
- Represented the financing bank in China Gold Corporation Group's acquisition of 42% shares of Jinshan Gold Mines Inc. (TSX: JIN) at the price of CAD 218 million.
- Acted for a Chinese bank in its fund settlement agreement with one of the largest Canadian banks.

- Acted for a Chinese mining company in its Qualifying Transaction with CPC on the TSX Venture Exchange.
- Acted for a Chilean mining company in its listing at the TSX-V.
- Acted for a Canadian company with major gold mine assets in China in the IPO at the TSX-Venture.
- Acted for several CPCs in their IPOs and Qualifying Transactions with companies from China and elsewhere.
- Represented several Chinese companies in their proposed reverse takeovers of mining companies in Canada.
