Thomas R. Benson is an associate in the litigation department of the Davis LLP Calgary office. Since being called to the bar in 1975, Tom’s practice has been focused mainly on the oil and gas industry.

Tom has considerable experience in cases involving oil and gas well drilling and servicing, corporate / commercial and employment disputes. He has appeared before all levels of courts in the Province of Alberta.

As the head of the corporate legal function for two major corporations, Tom also gained an in-depth knowledge of natural gas marketing, liquids extraction and pipeline matters.

Tom has been extensively involved in his community, including sports and education matters.
