Biography
Stu Morrow is a senior partner in Davis LLP's Securities & Corporate Finance Practice Group.
Mr. Morrow has extensive experience in advising domestic and foreign issuers and Boards on corporate reorganizations, securities law, finance, restructurings and related corporate governance and regulatory compliance issues. Mr. Morrow also has extensive experience representing boards, dissidents and independent committees in hostile proxy fights for control of public and private companies.
He is a frequent lecturer on M&A transactions, corporate governance, proxy contests and contentious shareholder meetings at conferences sponsored by the legal and accounting professions, the University of British Columbia Law School and the Institute of Corporate Directors.
Mr. Morrow sits on the Dean's Advisory Committee to the National Centre for Business Law at UBC and is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
A native of Montréal, Québec, Mr. Morrow studied law at McGill University and has practiced law in British Columbia since 1979.
