Sandy Vander Ziel is an associate in Davis LLP's Litigation Department. Sandy practises exclusively family law and is a mediator, as well as a member of the Association of Collaborative Professionals and a Dispute Resolution Officer with the Court of Queen’s Bench.

She has had extensive experience appearing at the Court of Queen's Bench as well as provincial family court as in her practice, she represents children through the Legal Representation for Children and Youth program as a child and youth advocate.

Sandy's practice focuses in all areas of family law, including divorce, parenting plans, child custody, child support, spousal support, matrimonial property as well as co-habitation and prenuptial agreements. She has in-depth experience with domestic violence matters and has received training in spousal abuse risk assessment.

Sandy's practice is focused on a commitment to work in an atmosphere that promotes maintaining healthy post-separation parenting relationships such that the children's best interests are protected.
