Ross Ellison is a senior partner in the firm's Employment & Labour Law Group. He advises management clients on all aspects of employment relations and is very experienced in employment law, including wrongful dismissals, human rights claims, injunctions, Employment Standards Act issues and employment contracts. 
He regularly advises the firm's corporate and institutional clients on the employment aspects of reorganizations, downsizings and amalgamations, and he assists with planning personnel decisions so as to minimize the legal and financial impact to the client. Ross is a frequent lecturer to executives, industry groups and other lawyers on employment and labour matters and has published numerous papers and articles on wrongful dismissal, employment contracts and on how lawyers should increasingly stress preventative advice to clients. He also lectures to management conferences and employers groups on the subjects of employment law, wrongful dismissals, employment contracts and employee terminations. Ross was named as one of the 500 top lawyers in Canada and a leading practitioner in the area of employment law by The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, named as one of the best employment lawyers in Canada by the National Post, named in Woodward/White's Best Lawyers in Canada and listed by Best Lawyers Canada.
