Rodney Snow

Rodney Snow practises in the Davis LLP Yukon Office as a corporate solicitor, with experience in mining, finance, aboriginal and environmental law. A former director of the Yukon Chamber of Mines, he has experience advising resource clients on Yukon project approvals, financing and has provided Yukon mineral title opinions on many Yukon mining projects. He is qualified to practise in British Columbia, the Yukon and Nunavut.
In the summer of 2010, Rod made legal history by becoming the first president of the Canadian Bar Association from northern Canada. In this important leadership role, he brought a Northern perspective to national legal issues. Rod is a frequent speaker and writer on aboriginal and mining law matters. He has lectured on aboriginal, mining and environmental law topics to a variety of groups including the Canadian Bar Association (Aboriginal section), Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia, Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation, Canadian Institute, and the International Bar Association (Environmental Law Committee). He has been recognized by Lexpert, International Who's Who of Mining Lawyers and Best Lawyers as a leader in his field.
