Robert Swift is a partner in the Vancouver office of Davis LLP engaged in a general corporate and commercial practice with an emphasis on the automotive, aircraft and equipment finance and leasing industry. He is highly experienced in matters relating to corporate and personal property security, corporate acquisitions, consumer and corporate finance, distribution and licensing agreements.

He regularly advises General Motors Acceptance Corporation (now Ally Credit Canada), Ford Credit, Nissan Canada Finance and John Deere Credit on all aspects of automotive and equipment inventory, floorplan, retail and lease financing matters, and Cessna Finance Corporation on aircraft leasing and security matters.

A native of Burnaby, British Columbia, Bob was educated at Simon Fraser University and the University of British Columbia. He has been practising law in British Columbia with Davis since 1973.
