Biography
Peter Archibald is engaged in the practice of labour relations and employment law. He has practised exclusively in the area of labour relations and employment law since 1973. He is actively involved as litigation counsel in labour and employment matters and has an extensive practice in labour litigation before various labour relations tribunals and the courts.
Mr. Archibald has an extensive collective bargaining practice and has acted as chief spokesman for employers in over 155 sets of labour negotiations as well as acting as senior advisor to employers in scores of other labour negotiations.
Mr. Archibald also has an extensive practice as a policy advisor to both public and private sector employers with regard to their human resources policies.
Mr. Archibald has also been a policy advisor to successive provincial governments on labour law reform and has acted for various interest groups in regard to labour law policy.
Mr. Archibald joined Davis LLP as a partner in 2003 having previously practiced with a major national law firm.
