Nadine has practised for several years in the labour and employment law group at Canada's leading law firms and in-house at Manulife Financial and BMO Nesbitt Burns.

She is the author of the only comprehensive book in Canada on executive compensation titled "Executive Compensation: A Director's Guide", published by Thomson Reuters.

She also authors quarterly newsletters on executive compensation and is a frequent speaker on employment law matters.

She has also worked on the labour and employment matters, privacy implications, executive compensation plans, executive agreements and prospectus disclosure in several prominent transactions, including:

  • Bell Globemedia's $1.7 billion acquisition of CHUM.
  • Cameco's spin-off of its gold mining assets with the $253.2 million IPO and secondary offering of Centerra Gold Inc.
  • BFI Canada Income Fund's combination of BFI Canada and IESI Corp. in a deal valued at $1.1 billion.
  • The consortium led by Brookfield Properties Corp. in the combined acquisition of O&Y Properties Corp. and O&Y Real Estate Investment Trust valued at over $2.1 billion.
