Mitsumi Kawai

Mitsumi Kawai graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2006 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She attended Queen’s University, Faculty of Law in Kingston, Ontario where she earned her Juris Doctor in 2011.

Before commencing her law career, Mitsumi spent many hours working in psychology labs at University of British Columbia, and spent a year teaching English in Fukuoka, Japan.

Mitsumi joined Davis LLP as a summer articled student in 2010 and began her articles in September 2011.

She speaks conversational Japanese.
