Michael Styczen is an associate in the firm's Calgary office. He practises corporate/commercial law, with particular emphasis on the energy, pipeline and electricity industries. Michael also practises climate change law. 
Michael joined Davis in 2010. Previously, he practised in the Calgary office of another national firm. Prior to his legal career, he practised as a professional engineer working as an environmental and operations supervisor in the electricity industry and as an environmental engineer in petroleum refining. Michael has contributed to a number of non-legal publications including Canadian Running magazine and is an administrator of Canada's leading running and multisport internet site.
