Biography
Meika Lalonde is an associate in Davis LLP's Immigration Law Practice Group in Vancouver where she advises clients on a broad range of business immigration matters. Ms. Lalonde assists companies to employ foreign workers in Canada pursuant to various types of work authorizations, and has assisted individuals to become Canadian permanent residents and citizens. Ms. Lalonde also has experience with helping foreign workers and their accompanying family members to overcome potential inadmissibility issues, including criminality.
Prior to joining Davis LLP in 2008, Ms. Lalonde worked for a multinational software company where she was dedicated to providing in-house immigration expertise on a global basis, with a particular focus on the recruitment and retention of foreign workers in Canada and the US.
