Biography
Liliane Gingras is an associate in the Toronto Office where she practices environmental law, regulatory law, and civil litigation. Liliane has been a member of Davis LLP's Municipal, Planning and Environmental Law Group since joining the firm as an associate in 2005 following her Call to the Bar.
Liliane advises clients on a wide range of environmental and regulatory matters, including environmental prosecutions and litigation, compliance, waste management and disposal, transportation of dangerous goods, and occupational health and safety. She also advises clients with respect to penalties issued by Canada Customs pursuant to the Administrative Monetary Penalty System.
Liliane regularly represents clients in provincial regulatory prosecutions, including prosecutions for environmental offences, before the Ontario Court of Justice, and in civil matters before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. Liliane also represents clients at hearings before the Environmental Review Tribunal.
Liliane joined the Toronto office of Davis as a summer student in 2003, and articled with the firm in 2004-2005.
