Julien Archambault
Associate, Montréal
Julien Archambault is experienced in litigation and handles files in specific fields such as insolvency and restructuring, residential leasing and protection of personal information in the private sector.
Although Julien is a litigation lawyer, he is skilled at preventing litigation by implementing different strategies in a client’s business and by negotiating and solving disputes before judicial action is taken when a litigious situation arises. Julien represents numerous businesses and individuals working in the show-business/production industry such as agents and agencies (casting and artistic), merchandise and promotional items companies for music groups, actors and models, 3D production and animation studios. He also represents retirement homes offering senior living and assisted living services. Working in this area has given him considerable experience with residential lease contracts on a very large scale and with the Régie du Logement, the Quebec residential rental board. His involvement with these clients also requires knowledge of consent to care issues, capacity and substitute-decision making regulations.
Julien completed a bachelor of laws with honours from the Université de Sherbrooke. He was President of the Administration Council for the Law Students General Association from 2006 to 2008. His community activities include coaching the Bois-de-Boulogne College debate team and giving a class on Oral Advocacy. Publications
