Biography
Jonathan Gilhen is an associate in the Vancouver office of Davis LLP, where he practices corporate and commercial law. Jonathan joined Davis in 2008. Previously, he practiced in the Toronto office of a prominent business law firm.
Jonathan is a member of the Competition and Antitrust practice group, focusing on pre-merger analysis and notification and reviewable matters under the Competition Act (Canada). In addition, Jonathan maintains a general corporate and commercial practice, advising on such matters as public and private offerings, mergers and acquisitions and infrastructure projects.
Recognition
While attending law school, Jonathan received the Annaline Lubbe award for highest standing in Competition Law, as well as prizes for highest standing in Corporate Finance and Advanced (Corporate) Taxation. In addition, Jonathan received an award from the Ottawa Law Review for his paper "An Analysis of the Resale Price Maintenance Prohibition in Light of the Objectives of the Competition Act".
