Biography
John Lemieux practices in the Corporate/Commercial department of the Edmonton office.
Born and raised in Edmonton, Mr. Lemieux earned an honours degree in history from the University of Alberta in 2000 and completed the coursework requirements for a masters degree in history from the University of Victoria before returning to the University of Alberta and receiving his LL.B. in 2004.
Mr. Lemieux articled with Davis LLP prior to joining the firm as an associate in 2005.
Mr. Lemieux has experience in general corporate matters, corporate litigation, securities transactions, including public and private offerings, and mergers and acqusitions and other commercial matters.
Mr. Lemieux also practices in the area of real estate law, and has acted for vendors, purchasers and financial institutions in numerous complex commercial real estate transactions.
Additionally, Mr. Lemieux provides comprehensive advice with respect to estate planning matters, providing individuals, families and business clients with comprehensive advice tailored to their specific needs to ensure the orderly succession of assets.
