Heather Burgi

Her practice involves purchases and sales of businesses, lending and financing transactions, and advising clients on a variety of commercial contracts. She also assists in competition matters.

Heather articled at Davis LLP and joined the firm as an associate in 2010. Heather holds a Juris Doctor, a Diploma in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science (Combined Honours Geology and Geophysics) from the University of British Columbia.

While attending law school, Heather received a Panvini Scholarship in Law and a Law Foundation Scholarship for overall academic achievement as well as scholarships for highest standing in real estate transactions and industrial and intellectual property. She also received a John K Campbell Scholarship for interest in the mining industry.

During her undergraduate degree, Heather received several awards, most notably an Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists Achievement Award in Geosciences.
