Brian has maintained a significant litigation practice in Calgary since 1978. He has appeared before all levels of court in the Province of Alberta, and has conducted trials involving oil & gas well drilling and servicing, corporate / commercial, and employment issues.

Brian also has extensive experience in cases involving the Company Creditors Arrangement Act and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.

Brian has been recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in Canada in the area of Insolvency and Financial Restructuring Debtors Rights. He has received a BV Distinguished Peer Rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
