Ellen Swan

Prior to joining Davis LLP, Ellen practised in the pensions and employment group of Slaughter and May, in London, UK, and in the labour and employment litigation group of another Bay Street law firm.

Ellen advises clients on a wide range of labour and employment matters including: wrongful dismissal claims, employee and workplace policies, labour relations and collective bargaining issues, human rights complaints, and employment, consulting and independent contractor agreements.

Ellen has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario, including the Ontario Court of Appeal. She has also represented clients before the Human Rights Commission, the Ontario Labour Relations Board and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board.
