Doug has expertise in negotiating and drafting effective restructuring, forbearance, "look-see" and realization agreements, providing opinions on Personal Property Security Act matters and providing strategic advice and opinions to financial institutions in a variety of banking matters.

Doug's corporate/commercial practice is focused in the area of bank financing, in which he acts for financial institutions in:

  • commercial mortgage transactions
  • small business financing
  • financing and banking services to First Nations
  • preparing priority and interlender agreements
  • preparing banking agreements for commercial financings and loan syndications
