David Foulds

David has also successfully developed and maintained a broad litigation practice which extends beyond commercial disputes. In particular:

• He has significant ongoing experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in defamation litigation and has regularly provided pre-publication defamation advice to a variety of media clients.
• He regularly acts for plaintiffs in disputes with accountants and auditors relating to the provision of accounting and auditing services.
• He has experience representing legal and medical professionals in the defence of professional liability claims.

David is the Former Chair of the Student Recruitment and Development Committee in Davis's Toronto office and is a member of the firm's Associate and Professional Development, Partnership Admission and Risk Management Committees.
