Catherine McKendry

First called in 1992 in Ontario, she practised for 14 years in the business groups of national Bay-Street firms before relocating to the Calgary office of a large national firm in 2006.

Catherine moved to Davis in August 2010 to work with its business specialists to deliver specialized transaction services to clients.

She also works with the firm's northern offices on an ongoing basis to assist the firm build on its reputation as Canada's go-to law firm for providing a broad range of legal solutions to clients with interests in Northern Canada.

Catherine has extensive experience in corporate/commercial transactions including private M&A, dispositions, joint ventures, strategic alliances and corporate reorganizations, both domestically and internationally.

She has worked with clients in many industrial sectors and has broad experience working with mining clients specifically. She is experienced in preparing a wide variety of agreements involving corporate services including distribution, consulting, consignment, drilling, supply and other service agreements, primarily in the mining sector

Catherine has also practised extensively as a financial services transactions specialist, working with both syndicate lenders and borrower groups in major domestic and cross-border financings.

Her work has involved the full range of domestic and cross-border financial services, including asset-backed lending, general secured and unsecured transactions, bond transactions and project finance.
