Anna I. MacMillan

Anna has a broad range of experience in construction project work. She has expertise in drafting and negotiating all types of contracts for the development of power projects, including hydroelectric generating stations, natural-gas-fired electricity generating projects, solar power stations, nuclear plants and ethanol plants. Anna has also advised on a major-league, arena complex and two toll-highway bids. Her construction law/energy practice includes advising lenders, owners and contractors in structuring and negotiating commercial contracts and dealing with on or off-site consultants, suppliers and contractors, including major equipment suppliers, architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, interior designers and security specialists.

Anna also has a broad range of corporate/commercial experience. She has an extensive background in mergers and acquisitions, and has led various large, multi-step corporate reorganizations for international clients. She represents clients ranging in size from small to major corporations and provides ongoing advice on all aspects of business law to her client base.
