She advised foreign companies interested in investing in Brazil, as well as Brazilian companies interested in investing abroad, and provided legal advice on international contracts, project finance, mergers and acquisitions, stock and debt offerings, securities regulation, and corporate governance.

In addition to her Brazilian law degree, Anelize has a Brazilian Bachelor of Business Administration degree and Masters of Laws degrees from the New York University School of Law (2009) and the University of Toronto (2011).

She speaks English, Portuguese and Spanish fluently.
