"Daring" Ad to be Removed from Internet

French game publisher and developer Ubisoft has been ordered by the Pan-European Game Information ratings board ("PEGI") to remove its controversial ad for the game "We Dare" from the internet.

Gamasutra has reported that Ubisoft was given three days to comply with the PEGI Enforcement Committee order, failing which sanctions would be immediately imposed.

PEGI has publicly stated that the risqué ad misleads consumers as to the true nature of the game and doesn't "accurately reflect the nature and content of the product".

On a side note, Ubisoft has announced that the game will not be released in the U.K. or U.S.
