The Ministry of the Environment's proposed Guideline for Phase II Environmental Site Assessments in Ontario has been posted to the Environmental Registry. A copy of this posting is available here .
The purpose of the proposed Guideline is to provide general guidance to property owners, municipalities and qualified persons conducting a Phase II ESA under Part XV.1 of the Environmental Protection Act. A copy of the proposed Guideline can be found here .
The Ministry of the Environment is requesting public comments on the proposed Guideline. Written submissions may be made to the Ministry of the Environment between June 08, 2006 and August 07, 2006.
