Beyond Your Practice

As we honour our commitments to our valued clients, we also respect the importance of family, friends, personal health and community involvement. Many of our lawyers balance a busy legal practice, pursuits in writing and lecturing, devoting time to Boards of charities, corporations and trade organizations, pro bono matters and, of course, their families. We work with our lawyers to achieve balance so that they will meet client’s expectations consistently and help clients achieve their critical objectives.

Resources

We understand the demands of our clients. While supporting the development of your career and your practice, we provide internal resources to help you get the job done.

Junior Associates, students, paralegals, and legal administrative assistants are either assigned to you or your practice group to help perform non-lawyer activities so that you can concentrate on strategic planning with your clients, your colleagues, and/or pursuing opportunities for business development.

We have business-services professionals who focus solely on knowledge management and research to conduct more complex projects, as well as a full roster of administrative staff to assist with important, everyday tasks.

Professional Development

We support our lawyers’ professional development through CBA subsection memberships, the attendance of courses and workshops to accumulate CLE credits, lecturing, writing, and other community involvement such as Board memberships and pro bono work.
